A weekend to be us

In 2010 Janie and I went to a festival together. Janie's first!!! It was a weekend of cheesy 80s pop, eating from vans, sleeping in tents, weeing in cesspits (almost), singing, dancing and laughing aloud with the sheer pleasure of pretending to be 19 again. For four days we were us; Jude and Janie, Janie and Jude. We danced through sun and rain, we drunk our own body weight in pimms and we danced some more, it was there that we were dubbed 'the dancing girls.

Rewind 2010 - What's not to love?

SaturdaySunday

So many fabulous moments - refusing to shmooze (well other than a brief but emotionally charged meeting of Janie and Lee Johns from Imagination) we danced for England; from Modern Romance at 2pm on Saturday til Tony Hadley made us wet (in an incredible downpour) at 11pm on Sunday.

A weekend away had become a tradition - there was to be no going back for the dancing girls.
